UcakBileti.com is definitely the most valuable domain name for the airline industry in Turkey. Before this successful domain sale, NoktaDomains received lots of offers for UcakBileti.com from the largest airline companies in Turkey. Considering these offers, NoktaDomains decided to prepare an auction for this name to increase the competition in the market. The auction was placed in April, 2011 with the collaboration of SnapNames.com. Beside UcakBileti.com, other most valuable Top10 Turkish travel domains are listed during the auction.

The success story of this sale began with this auction as the buyer of UcakBileti.com placed his first bid for this name 3 months ago. Although the buyer placed his bid, he could not meet with the reserve price, $167,000, of UcakBileti.com. The buyer also placed his bid for UcuzBilet.com, which was the second most expensive and valuable domain in the auction following UcakBileti.com. Unfortunately, UcakBileti.com and UcuzBilet.com could not be sold during the auction as the reserve prices were not met.
After auction was over, the buyer contacted with NoktaDomains to purchase UcakBileti.com and offered $150,000. As this domain is worth more than this, NoktaDomains did not agree on this offer. Then buyer increased his offer to $200,000, however, NoktaDomains did not agree on this as well. After aggressive negotiations extending over 3 months, NoktaDomains and the buyer agreed on the price of $250,000 for UcakBileti.com. So this successful sale of UcakBileti.com is placed his story in domain industry.
In the meantime, NoktaDomains also sold another ticket domain EkonomikBilet.com (EconomicTicket.com in English) for sold $16.000. With this sale, NoktaDomains realized two successful domain sales within 3 month period.
